Introduce your child to the martial arts and self defense in a safe, fun and engaging setting.

Our kinder-camp is loads of fun and educational. It gives your young ones the opportunity to socialize, learn, move their bodies, engage their minds and get some extra time in at the beach!

Expert instructors will introduce your children to a variety of styles that address self-defense, and self-care. Each day is finished off with beach time!!

Daily Schedule:

Drop off at the academy

• 10:00-10:15am — Sign in and Settle in

• 10:15-10:30am — Warm-Up & Athletic Games, Meditation & Stretch

• 10:30-10:45am — Water Break

• 10:45-11:15am — Storytime/Art/Music

• 11:15-11:45am — Martial Arts & Martial Art Games (Playful)

• 11:45-12:15am — Lunch (you provide sack lunch, we provide water)

• 12:15-01:00pm — Transition to Wood’s Cove Beach

• 01:00-01:30pm — Beach Time Across the Street (sandcastles and/or tide and surf-dependent shallow water play - we will check in with the lifeguards)

Pick up across the street at Wood’s Cove beach (walking distance - two blocks)

Martial Arts Training Outline:

Our camp will introduce kids to both the striking and grappling arts.

Kinder-Camp is age-appropriate so lessons will be structured but playful and fun… after all it is camp. The older kid’s camp is a bit more serious.

Instructors:

Jacob Cho and Jason Bukich, both lifelong martial artists and black belts will be the lead instructors. Click the names to learn more about each teacher. We will also invite guest instructors.
