Youth MMA & Practical Self Defense - Ages 6 or 7 to Preteen

Tue Kickboxing — 4pm
Thu MMA & Practical Self Defense — 4pm**

*You can substitute a different day for Jiujitsu

This program focuses mainly on a mix of styles, techniques and strategies needed for self-defense, presented in a format that blends martial art and western sport-style settings.

Mondays will cover jiujitsu (ground self-defense), Tuesdays will cover kickboxing (stand-up/striking self-defense) and Thursdays will be when all of it is combined (to include wrestling as well).

Thursday’s session will be run by former undefeated MMA professional athlete/fighter and 3rd Degree Jiu Jitsu black belt, Professor Jason Bukich.

Our program offers a healthy balance of character development, physical education and skills training. Self-defense is a core component but we believe in and encourage a non-violent resolution to conflict when possible. 

Children have fun, but at the same time are challenged to work hard, persevere and ultimately achieve goals.
